Luxury vinyl plank
LVP, SPC and WPC have a waterproof core, so humidity, spills and wet paws are not a problem. They are warmer and quieter underfoot than tile, and a thick wear layer stands up to claws and chair legs. The honest trade-off: it is a printed image of wood, convincing from standing height, and strong direct sun can fade some products over the years.
Tile
Porcelain tile is the most durable floor you can put in a Florida home. It shrugs off water, heat and sun, stays cool in August, and wood-look planks give the warmth of hardwood in rooms where real wood should not go. The trade-offs are honest ones: it is hard underfoot, grout needs sealing and care, and installation takes more labor than a floating floor.
Hardwood & engineered wood
Nothing else has the depth, feel or resale appeal of real wood. In our climate, engineered wood is the steadier choice: its layered core moves less with humidity than solid planks do. Keep it out of wet rooms, expect a scratch or two from larger dogs, and let the air conditioning keep the indoor humidity even.

Selections & proposal
You choose the product and finish. Your written proposal itemizes material, removal, prep and installation by the square foot, so you can adjust it before anything is ordered.
Install & walkthrough
Our own team removes the old floor, preps the subfloor and installs the new one, leaving a clean site every day. A final walkthrough and your three-year labor and installation warranty close the job.
Before you choose a floor.
Which flooring holds up best in Florida humidity?
Luxury vinyl plank with an SPC or WPC core and porcelain tile are the two safest choices. Both are waterproof through and through, so summer humidity, tracked-in rain and the occasional spill do not swell or stain them. Real wood can work in an air-conditioned Florida home, and engineered wood is the steadier option because its layered core moves less than solid planks. Keep wood out of bathrooms and laundry rooms, and keep the indoor humidity even.
Do I need a permit to replace my floors?
Not usually. Orange County, for example, does not require a permit for new finished flooring, while moving plumbing, electrical or walls as part of a larger remodel does. When your project needs a permit, it is included: we coordinate it through our licensed general contractor partner.
Do you remove the old floor and prep the subfloor?
Yes. Removal of the existing floor and subfloor prep are part of every flooring installation, and each is listed by the square foot in your written proposal. A flat, sound subfloor is what keeps planks tight and tile from cracking, so it is never skipped. Our own team does the work, and the site is cleaned at the end of every day.
How much does flooring installation cost in Orlando?
Flooring is itemized by the square foot in your proposal. The number depends on the material (luxury vinyl plank, SPC, WPC, tile or hardwood), the square footage, the condition of the subfloor and the layout. We measure at the consultation and put every line in writing.
What is the difference between LVP, SPC and WPC?
All three are vinyl plank floors. SPC has a rigid stone-plastic core for stability; WPC has a wood-plastic core that feels slightly softer underfoot; LVP is the broad name for the category. We help you choose by room, pets and humidity.
