Remodel Financing in Central Florida

Remodel financing is how most Central Florida homeowners get a kitchen or bathroom done now instead of in three years. Posada Remodeling & Design offers financing through Hearth, so you can check your options in about a minute without affecting your credit score, then start the project on a payment you are comfortable with.

How remodel financing works with Posada

We are a remodeling company, not a lender. Financing is handled by Hearth, which works with a network of lending partners. We do not review your application, we do not make the credit decision, and we do not see your financial details.

  1. Check your options. It takes about a minute and uses a soft credit check, so it does not affect your score.
  2. See what you qualify for. You are shown the offers available to you, from Hearth’s lending partners, not from us.
  3. Pick what fits. You choose the option and the monthly payment you are comfortable with, or you walk away. There is no obligation either way.
  4. We build. Once you are ready, we schedule the project like any other job.

Rates, terms and approval amounts come from the lender, vary by applicant, and are shown to you during the process. We do not quote them, because they are not ours to quote.

Why homeowners finance a remodel

A kitchen or bathroom is one of the larger things you will spend money on in a house, and most people do not have that amount sitting idle. Financing tends to make sense in a few specific situations.

  • The problem is getting worse. A leaking shower pan or failing subfloor costs more the longer it waits. Financing the repair now is usually cheaper than financing a bigger repair later.
  • You would rather do it once. Splitting a bathroom into two phases means paying twice for demo, protection and setup. Doing the whole room in one pass is more efficient.
  • You want to keep your savings intact. Plenty of homeowners could pay cash and choose not to empty the emergency fund to do it.
  • You are staying in the house. If you plan to be there another five or ten years, you get the use of the room the whole time you are paying for it.

Financing a kitchen remodel

Kitchens are the larger of the two projects and the one people most often finance. Cabinets and countertops usually account for more than half the budget, which means the number moves a lot depending on what you choose. Financing lets you decide based on what you actually want rather than what is in the account this month.

Our guide to kitchen remodel financing walks through the different loan types homeowners use, including home equity loans, lines of credit and personal home improvement loans.

Financing a bathroom remodel

Bathrooms are usually the smaller number, which makes them the more common financed project among homeowners who want the work done quickly. A tub-to-shower conversion or a single full bathroom is often a manageable monthly payment.

It is also the project most often driven by need rather than want. Accessibility changes, a failing shower, or a bathroom that no longer suits the people using it are all reasons the work cannot wait for a savings plan. See our guide to aging-in-place bathroom remodels.

Remodel financing FAQs

Will checking my options hurt my credit score?

No. Checking what you qualify for uses a soft credit check, which does not affect your score. A hard check only happens later if you choose to move forward with a specific lender.

Do I have to use financing if I check?

No. Checking your options puts you under no obligation. Plenty of homeowners look, decide to pay cash, and go ahead anyway.

Do I need home equity to finance a remodel?

Not necessarily. Home equity products are one route, but unsecured home improvement loans do not require equity. What you qualify for depends on your own circumstances and is decided by the lender.

Who actually lends the money?

Hearth’s lending partners. Posada Remodeling & Design is the remodeling company, not the lender or the broker. We do not make credit decisions and we do not set rates or terms.

Can I finance part of the project and pay the rest?

Yes. Many homeowners put some cash down and finance the balance. That is entirely your call, and it does not change how we schedule or run the job.
